All the planets and the Sun were a cloud of gas and dust. But 4.5 billion years ago, gravity caused the cloud to thicken and spin. At its centre, hydrogen atoms collided and heated up. This is how the Sun came into being, and soon the giant planets and the planets of the Earth group took their place in orbits. The Earth was not always as we are used to seeing it. It took billions of years for water and land to form on a red-hot ball filled with magma...
So we had the idea of making a mixer in a way that no one had ever been used to seeing before.
It certainly took less time, but the solution was at hand. With a lot of experience in mechanical engineering we decided that the optimum shape for mixing is a sphere. The optimality of this shape has many advantages, for example a reduction of the mixing chamber surface while maintaining the same volume, which results in a better use of the production area. Fewer product frictions during mixing, which results in shorter mixing times and lower energy consumption. The ability to add liquids to the mixing process and to discharge the product completely saves time, and time is probably the most important resource these days.
But we were not the first to make a spherical mixer, we were the first to go further and draw parallels with our universe. So we applied the angle of the Earth's axis to our design. The results amazed us. With a 23 degree inclination of the mixer, we not only got more gentle handling of the product, but also obtained a homogeneity of the mixture of over 99 per cent. Optimisation is our priority.
